Here we are at 1 week!
I’ve learned so much this week! I’ve also learned to ask for help. He ended up having his surgery a week early, so the surgeon we got wasn’t the one we had been consulting with. I hated his surgeon. We just didn’t communicate with each other well. She wouldn’t even let us visit him post surgery, stating he would get too excited and then it would take hours to calm him down. I am hoping I can have his post surgery follow up with his regular vet and not the surgeon.
But, on a good note, I cannot believe how quick he has rebounded. He is hard to keep rested!! He’s trying to run on leash, and is starting to get back to his old self

Wonderful to jear how well you are doing this early on!! You still have to tske it slow sweet boy, okay? And yes, tripawds do need to walk at a faster pace for balance and momentum.
I hope you get to do the post follow-up with yiur regular Vet too. I wasn’t thrilled with my Happy Hannah’s surgeon either. I used my regular Vet whenever I could too!
